`install_active_logger`	Makes `logger` the one active_logger() returns in this binary; nullptr uninstalls.
`thread_ownership_list_size_for_testing`	Returns how many rings the calling thread's ownership list retains.
`log_trace_start`	Logs a warning for each fact in `result` that degrades the capture.
